Dunbia Group is seeking an HR Officer at our Cross Hands site in Wales to join a focused HR team. You will provide advice and support to on-site managers and employees across generalist HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, coaching and training, employee relations and absence management.

The role emphasises partnership with line managers, data-driven HR administration and preparation for site audits.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a HR site-based role (preferably meat processing, manufacturing, warehousing or similar factory-based environment).
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Ability to build partnerships across multiple internal functions.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Proactive and able to work under own initiative.
• Strong teamworking skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Work with on-site management to support delivery of people policies and processes (performance management, employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, absence management) in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
• Provide first-line day-to-day HR advice, guidance and hands-on support for Managers and employees across a wide range of people matters.
• Coordinate recruitment activities including dealing with recruitment enquiries, advertising, screening and interviewing.
• Plan and carry out onboarding activities.
• Prepare statistical and management information (absence, headcount, working time, overtime, training) weekly/monthly with HR Manager/HRBP to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage the absence process, including Occupational Health referrals and sickness management meetings.
• Coordinate site HR administration.
• Prepare for Ethical Trading, HR and other internal site audits.
• Coordinate monthly Employee Forum meetings.
