Job summary

The City of Norwich School - An Ormiston Academy (CNS) is seeking a proactive Site Assistant to maintain safety, cleanliness and functionality of the school site, with a focus on grounds maintenance including tennis courts and pitches.

Role is 32 hours per week all year round with flexible hours to accommodate workload, holidays and events. You will work with the Premises Manager to ensure a secure, well-presented site that supports teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking or premises maintenance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, school events and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide caretaking services to facilitate teaching and use of the Academy.
• Provide caretaking services to prevent health risks.
• Help maintain the Academy's buildings and site.
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance.
• Have key holder responsibilities including opening/closing the site and alarm response.
• Ensure classrooms and teaching areas are prepared for students and teachers.
