Job summary

BJF Group is a leading multidiscipline Main Contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across diverse sectors. We are seeking an experienced General Operative to join the Project Services Team in London, supporting minor works and ensuring contractual obligations are met across multiple sites including prisons and universities.

You will respond to reactive calls, carry out first fixes where possible, and perform planned maintenance while keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• CSCS or ECS card required.
• City & Guilds or other accredited qualification in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive calls and perform first fixes where possible and scope quotes for repair.
• Carry out planned building/fabrication maintenance tasks as per program and keep auditable records.
• Ensure the site is kept in good decorative order in line with specification.
• Establish strong working relationships to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects.
• Always work in a safe manner and to a high standard in line with best practices.
