Job summary

iQ Student Accommodation is seeking a General Manager to lead our busy site in Egham and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while providing a safe, welcoming home for residents. You'll balance operational excellence with commercial performance, manage budgets, drive engagement, and coach the team to deliver outstanding customer service across hours of operation.

Qualifications

Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience managing a team or building management.
Focus on delivering excellent resident experience.

Responsibilities

Managing budgets and reviewing financial processes.
Monitoring performance and market trends; maintaining university partner relationships.
Driving NPS, Google reviews and converting opportunities.
Recruiting, onboarding, coaching and developing the team for customer service excellence.
Conducting regular check-ins, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Owning health & safety responsibilities; coordinating audits, inspections and risk assessments.
Resolving complaints and acting as the main escalation point at site.
Seeking opportunities to improve site operations and challenge the status quo.
Liaising with contractors and support teams to ensure a NoCompromise approach.
Owning the site balanced scorecard and tracking KPIs.
