Job summary

Finlay Jude Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshal to support Wastewater Treatment Projects across Greater Manchester. The role focuses on controlling access, enforcing CSCS and inductions, and guiding deliveries with banksman support.

The ideal candidate will hold a CSCS Card and Banksman certification, have strong safety awareness, and be able to work independently on site with punctuality and good communication with site teams.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card and Banksman certification are essential.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures on site.
• Able to communicate clearly with site teams and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Control access to site and ensure only authorised personnel enter.
• Verify inductions, CSCS cards and sign-in procedures.
• Act as banksman to guide vehicle and plant movements safely on site.
• Direct deliveries to correct areas and liaise with site teams.
• Maintain accurate site access and delivery records.
• Ensure PPE is worn by all personnel on site.
• Monitor entrance for safety, security and traffic flow.
