Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking a Site Foreman to oversee a 15-plot housing development in the Midlands (Coventry) with a strong S278 background. This is a full-time contract role with long-term opportunities on additional projects after completion.

You will coordinate trades, manage site safety, and ensure delivery from groundworks through to handover, while maintaining high standards of health and safety and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Manager / Foreman experience.
• Strong understanding of S278 works.
• CSCS Card is required for site access and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on a 15-plot housing development.
• Manage and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all S278 works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to specification.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and Local Authorities.
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior management.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Ensure quality control throughout all stages of the build.

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Site Foreman to oversee a new housing development, with further projects scheduled after completion, offering long-term, continuous work. This role requires a reliable, organised leader with proven experience delivering residential schemes and managing S278 works to a high standard. You will coordinate trades, maintain site safety, and ensure smooth delivery from groundworks through to handover.

Essential:

Roles & Responsibilities

Proactively identify risks, delays, or issues and implement solutions

Support junior staff and mentor apprentices where required

Be flexible to support additional projects once this development is complete

Requirements

As Site Manager/Foreman, you will also be expected to:

• Complete all site paperwork accurately and on time
• Submit weekly reports, site diaries, and compliance documentation
• Ensure all information is passed to Head Office in line with company standards
• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
