Job summary

Bloor Homes in Didcot is seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler / Forklift Operator to join our South West Region. You will move materials safely on site and help maintain smooth operations to meet project deadlines.

The role requires a valid FLT Licence, prior forklift experience, and a proactive, safety-conscious attitude. You will work as part of a team, ensuring deliveries are checked and stored correctly, with a focus on waste management and safe access.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence.
• Previous experience as Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler / Forklift Operator.
• Safety-conscious attitude with focus on teamwork.
• Ability to move materials safely and efficiently around site.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring materials are moved safely on and around the site.
• Checking the quality of material delivered to site.
• The storage and distribution of materials on site.
• To monitor safe access and walkways.
• To ensure skips are used correctly and waste is disposed to the correct skips to aid waste management.
• To maintain a clean and safe site at all times.
• Comply with and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any additional tasks as may be reasonably required.
• Ensuring all health and Safety aspects of Covid-19.
• Hold a FLT Licence.
• Experience in a previous role as a Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler / Forklift Operator.
• Effective communication skills and good time management.
• Self-motivated and proactive with an enthusiastic work ethic.
