Qualifications

• Proven experience as a forklift truck driver or operator.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols for operating forklifts.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves or storage areas using forklifts or other equipment.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
• Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved.
• Collaborate with other warehouse or production team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.
