Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is hiring a Forklift Driver to join our construction teams across Bristol area sites. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage material deliveries, check quantities on arrival, store goods correctly and help keep the programme on track.

You’ll need an FLT licence, a full UK driving licence and CSCS or an equivalent card, with a proven record of working safely on large domestic housing sites. Hybrid working is available where roles allow.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
• Experience on large domestic volume house-building sites.
• CSCS or partner scheme card and health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control material deliveries to site per construction programme.
• Check quality and quantity of deliveries; record defects or shortages.
• Store and label materials; manage waste in skips.
• Ensure forklift daily checks and weekly Plant Register entries.
• Maintain safety practices and assist with labouring duties as required.
