Job summary

McGinley Support Services Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Foreperson to supervise civil and water infrastructure sites across the Midlands and South East. The role demands strong leadership, health and safety discipline, and the ability to coordinate site teams and subcontractors on a busy programme.

You will oversee daily activities, ensure compliance with drawings and RAMS, and report progress to Site Managers. A Black/Gold CSCS card with SMSTS/SSSTS and NVQ Level 3 are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Black/Gold CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS.
• NVQ Level 3 in a relevant construction or civil engineering discipline.
• Previous Foreperson or supervisory experience.
• Experience in civil engineering, utilities or water infrastructure.
• Strong health and safety understanding.
• Good communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to coordinate site teams and manage daily workloads.
• Willingness to work across the Midlands and South East.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across water and civil projects.
• Lead operatives and subcontractors to complete works safely and efficiently.
• Allocate labour, plant, materials and equipment per programme.
• Monitor progress and report updates to Site Managers.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and method statements.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and technical information.
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and other trades.
• Identify delays, issues and health and safety concerns.
• Maintain site records and relevant documentation.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safe conditions on site.
• Support delivery of project milestones.
