Job summary

Wilton Engineering is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to support safe, reliable operation of our port base buildings, services, equipment and infrastructure. You will be the main point of contact for day-to-day facilities needs on site.

The role involves coordinating maintenance, contractor access, safety compliance and tenant relations, working with internal teams, tenants, and external partners to deliver timely, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, maintenance coordination or site services.
• Good practical understanding of building maintenance and site services.
• Experience coordinating tasks, contractors, checks and follow-up actions.
• IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities, maintenance and site support activities across the site.
• Log, prioritise and monitor maintenance requests to ensure timely completion.
• Arrange repairs and maintenance for lighting, plumbing, drains, doors and general fabric.
• Liaise with internal resources and external contractors to ensure work is safe and up to standard.
• Coordinate contractor attendance for maintenance, repair and inspection activities.
• Ensure contractors are inducted and aware of safety requirements, including permit to work procedures.
• Monitor contractor progress and escalate safety or quality concerns.
• Monitor tenant activity to support compliance with site rules and safety requirements.
• Record and escalate tenant infringements and issues; resolve service requests.
