Job summary

Pladis Global is seeking a Site Excellence Manager at Wigston to lead the site Excellence strategy within the Global Excellence framework. You will drive Lean/CI programmes, mentor teams, and partner with departmental leaders to deliver cost reductions and performance gains across manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, resilience, and ability to navigate a unionised environment while modelling our values and ensuring a safe, compliant production site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing, ideally FMCG.
• Ability to lead multiple improvement projects.
• Experience in unionised environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy the Site Excellence framework across Wigston.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and monitor KPIs (OEE, quality, safety).
• Coach and mentor teams in CI principles and Lean tools.
• Build capability and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align with site and global goals.
• Ensure health, safety and cost targets meet plan.
