Job summary

Sartorius in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead and deliver site-wide CI initiatives. You will shape the site strategy, coordinate improvement plans, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

The role focuses on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and embedding robust processes across the site with a hands-on engineering approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading continuous improvement projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of ISO requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify CI and cost-saving opportunities and coordinate implementation.
• Align local and global CI strategies across the site.
• Lead CI training and rollout across the site.
• Provide guidance to ensure processes are robust and well documented.
• Prioritise Lean projects and present solutions for improvements.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation.
• Carry out process and data analysis to support change initiatives.
• Lead site improvement activities when required.
• Build relationships across departments to optimise performance.
• Promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
