Job summary

Wavin, Orbia’s Building & Infrastructure business, seeks a qualified Engineer to manage maintenance and engineering projects at the Doncaster site. You will support operations, facilities, and CI initiatives, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely delivery.

The role requires experience in manufacturing environments, knowledge of injection moulding/extrusion/automation, and strong communication across stakeholders. On-site work with opportunities to advance CI maturity.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with manufacturing experience
• Technical knowledge in injection moulding, extrusion and automated assembly systems
• Excellent communication across multiple stakeholders
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with high flexibility

Responsibilities

• Project management of Engineering improvement and development projects, ensuring safety, cost and timescales are controlled
• Develop relationships with on-site stakeholders and suppliers
• Lead the site team in progressing the Doncaster site CI framework
• Identify opportunities to improve Doncaster site performance (safety, quality, cost, equipment)
• Support the Doncaster Engineering Manager
• Maintain Doncaster CAD drawings and CCTV site controls
• Keep abreast of new technology developments and implement where appropriate
• Construct business cases for capital investment projects
