Job summary

Wavin, Orbia’s Building & Infrastructure business, seeks a qualified engineer to manage maintenance and engineering projects at the Doncaster site, with a Safety First approach and CI leadership responsibilities.

You will work with operations, facilities, and external suppliers, maintain CAD drawings, oversee CCTV, and develop business cases for capital investment while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with experience in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of injection moulding, extrusion and automated assembly systems.
• Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Flexible with organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering improvement and development projects with safety, cost, and timescales control.
• Build relationships with on-site stakeholders and suppliers.
• Lead Doncaster site in progressing CI framework standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, cost, and equipment efficiency.
• Support the Doncaster Engineering Manager.
• Maintain Doncaster site CAD drawings.
• Oversee CCTV system as site contact.
• Explore new technology for on-site implementation.
• Create business cases for capital investment projects.
