Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major water/wastewater project at Bran Sands, Middlesbrough. This permanent role requires a strong civil engineering background and hands-on delivery on site.

You will work with Site Management and Engineering teams to ensure works are completed safely, accurately and to the required specification, with responsibilities covering setting-out, surveying, drawings inspection, and QA documentation.

Qualifications

• Setting out and surveying of civil works.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• CSCS and applicable site qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying of civil engineering works
• Providing engineering support to site management
• Checking levels and tolerances
• Maintaining accurate site records
• Reviewing drawings and specs
• Assisting planning and sequencing of works
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections
• Ensuring works meet design and specification
• Resolving engineering issues on site
• Maintaining QA documentation
