Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major new-build commercial office development near London Bridge. You will provide technical support to ensure works align with programme, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include setting out, surveying and quality control for concrete slip-form and structural steel packages, plus coordination with site teams and subcontractors. A strong civil/structural background and experience with Tier 1 contractors are highly

Qualifications

• Proven experience on major new-build projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 main contractor desirable.
• Strong setting out, surveying and interpreting technical drawings.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, slip-form construction and/or structural steel advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying structural works.
• Providing engineering support for concrete slip-form and structural steel activities.
• Checking drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring works meet required standards and tolerances.
• Completing site measurements, surveys and as-built information.
• Working closely with subcontractors to ensure works are delivered correctly.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
• Ensuring construction activities are delivered in accordance with project specifications.
• Assisting with planning and coordination of upcoming works.
