Job summary

Deanston Cooper Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to operate on Scottish Water projects within the Glasgow/Ayrshire framework. You will provide engineering and setting-out expertise on site, ensuring works align with drawings and client requirements.

The role requires an HNC in Civil Engineering, a CSCS card, and strong setting-out skills. You will collaborate with operatives, supervision and the commercial team to manage variations and maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• HNC Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• CSCS Card required.
• Excellent setting-out skills essential.
• Technical ability and good organisational skills.
• Ability to focus on targets and practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, technical skills and supervision on site.
• Undertake accurate setting out and manage setting out in line with the project programme.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
• Advise commercial team of technical or engineering changes that could warrant variations or cost changes.
• Ensure quality of the construction process and safety of all site works.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with the client.
