Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Site Engineer to join our UK infrastructure division on a permanent basis. Projects span roads, highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities across the UK.

Candidates must be willing to travel and stay away during the week. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, providing engineering support, setting out works to tolerances, and maintaining safety and quality records.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Site experience including setting out and reinforced concrete.
• Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Regular communication and reporting to multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, including coordination of subcontractors.
• Assist in providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer queries.
• Responsible for setting out works within allowable tolerances.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and recording/testing workmanship and materials.
• Assist in maintaining safety and quality documentation.
