Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. You will set out and survey works, interpret drawings, and provide technical support to site teams on large-scale schemes.

You will work across UK sites, ensuring accurate line and level, maintaining QA records and coordinating with management and subcontractors. A proactive approach to health, safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Competent in setting out and surveying works to drawings and specs.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to health, safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works per drawings and specs.
• Ensure accurate line, level and positioning of civil works.
• Interpret drawings and provide technical support to site teams.
• Carry out site surveys, measurements and as-built surveys.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitor quality and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain QA documentation and inspection records.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Support delivery of works in line with programme and quality standards.
