Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. The role involves setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings, and providing technical support to site teams on large-scale schemes.

You will coordinate with management and subcontractors, monitor quality, maintain QA records, and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Engineer on civil/major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proven surveying and field measurement skills.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Set out and survey works per drawings and specs.
• Ensure accurate line, level and positioning on site.
• Interpret drawings and provide technical support to site teams.
• Carry out site surveys, measurements and as-built surveys.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with project specs and standards.
• Maintain QA records and inspection documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Support delivery of works in line with programme and quality standards.
