HW Martin Fencing and Forestry Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join the HS2 infrastructure project. You will own site-setting out and QA processes for extensive fencing packages and asset protection, ensuring compliance with HS2 standards.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, HS2/major rail experience is preferred, and proficiency with Leica/Topcon survey gear and CAD software. CSCS is essential; PTS is advantageous.

Competenze

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
• HS2 or major rail/infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Technical proficiency with modern surveying instruments (Leica/Topcon) and CAD for data extraction.
• Ability to drive the ITP process from checklist to handover.
• CSCS card required; PTS is a major advantage.

Mansioni

The Role:

Join our team on HS2, Europe's largest infrastructure project, to deliver critical enabling works and civil engineering solutions. We are seeking a precision-driven Site Engineer to take immediate ownership of site-setting out and quality assurance protocols, specifically focusing on extensive fencing packages and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities

• * Precision Setting Out: Establish clear line and level control for temporary and permanent fencing boundaries using total stations, GPS, and standard surveying equipment.
• * Quality Assurance (ITPs): Complete, manage, and sign off Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to guarantee compliance with HS2 technical specifications and asset standards.
• * As-Built Records: Produce accurate as-built surveys and maintain comprehensive engineering logs, drawings, and records.

Requirements & Qualifications

• * Civil Engineering Degree (Preferred): Or equivalent technical qualification/experience in a relevant construction discipline.
• * HS2 or Major Project Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working within the strict compliance framework of HS2 or tier-1 major rail/infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• * Technical Proficiency (Essential): Competency with modern surveying instruments (Leica/Topcon) and CAD software for data extraction.
• * Quality Focus (Essential): Demonstrated experience driving the ITP process from initial checklist creation through to final handover.
• * Certifications (Essential): Valid CSCS card (Civil Engineering or Supervisor preferred).
• * PTS (Personal Track Safety) is a major advantage.
