RTL Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Land Surveyor for a major highways infrastructure project in Scotland. The role covers land and engineering surveys, setting out highways and structures, topographical work, and detailed data processing.

You'll use GPS/GNSS and total stations, produce accurate survey records, and liaise with site engineers to ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards. The contract is for 18 months with Scotland Perthshire location.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Land Surveyor on civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of topographical surveying, site control and engineering surveys.
• Competent in using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and surveying software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process survey data accurately.
• Relevant surveying qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.

The Role

• Carrying out land and engineering surveys across the project.
• Undertaking topographical surveys and establishing site control networks.
• Setting out and surveying highways, earthworks, drainage and structures.
• Conducting detailed level, alignment and dimensional checks.
• Completing as-built surveys and producing accurate survey data.
• Using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and relevant surveying software.
• Processing survey data and preparing reports, drawings and records.
• Liaising with Site Engineers, Site Agents and the wider engineering team.
• Ensuring all survey work meets project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Land Surveyor on civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of topographical surveying, site control and engineering surveys.
• Competent in using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and surveying software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process survey data accurately.
• Relevant surveying qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Contract Details

• Rate: £350-£450 per day, depending on experience.
• Start: ASAP.
• Duration: 18 months.
• Location: Scotland, Perthshire area.
• Accommodation and a vehicle may be available!
