Site Engineer - Freelance Setting Out Engineer, Southam

This is a freelance position for a Site Engineer specializing in setting out, based in Southam, United Kingdom. The project duration is approximately 6 months, starting from April 7th, at Long Itchington, involving groundworks for a HS2 site with two large Porta Buildings.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the project, including setting out, QA, record keeping, design input, and liaising with designers and the client.
2. Set out for bolts, pads, bases, groundworks, and drainage.
3. Participate in weekly site meetings, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards.
4. Engage with the site team, client, and designers to prevent errors and address design flaws.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in groundworks projects.
• Proven expertise in setting out and groundworks.
• EU work permit is required.
