Job summary

RGB Recruitment is recruiting for a Site Engineer in Exeter to join a civil engineering project team on a permanent basis. The role offers a £35,000–£40,000 salary, a car allowance, and excellent benefits, with opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will have practical site engineering experience, CSCS, and a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, and will support technical delivery and QA on site.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in civil engineering or construction.
• Practical site engineering experience is required.
• CSCS card is preferred/required.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and technical delivery on site.
• Ensuring works comply with drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining accurate site, engineering and QA records.
• Supporting health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and project teams.
• Supporting delivery of works safely, accurately and to programme.
