Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Site Engineer to work on the Western Gas - Western Import Resilience Pipeline project in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for accurate setting out, surveying, and ensuring works align with contract requirements and project procedures.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, proven site experience, and a strong emphasis on quality, safety, health, environmental and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar field required.
• Experience on Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
• Skilled in surveying and setting out techniques.
• Strong focus on Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurate setting out of the works and dimensional control.
• Resolving technical problems at all levels.
• Carry out inspections in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Produce survey information and red-lined drawings for As-built records.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained per policy and manufacturer requirements.
• Ensure construction complies with contract requirements and procedures.
• Provide clear, accurate information to site personnel.
• Supervise outputs and confirm environmental requirements are met.
• Ensure materials on site are stored and managed per guidance.
• Assist site management with KPI updates, material reconciliation and progress reports.
