Job summary
Tilbury Douglas is seeking a Site Engineer in Exeter to join a leading UK building, infrastructure, and engineering company. You will have overall responsibility for technical viability of project works and support safety, quality, environmental and commercial management.
The role requires a degree in construction, CSCS card and proven site engineering experience with a main contractor, with opportunities for development and a competitive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant construction subject.
- Comprehensive experience as a Site Engineer working for a main contractor.
- CSCS Card.
- Safety Level 1 course.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with the customer and their representatives/advisors.
- Implementing the company strategy for sustainability, Health & Safety, Quality and Environment.
- Ensuring project works comply with contract specs and drawings and maintaining records to confirm compliance.
- Identifying and resolving problems; supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Line management responsibilities including annual appraisals and development for junior staff.
