Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting a Site Engineer to work on the Margam & Port Talbot Project, focusing on reinforced concrete structures. You will set out, interpret as-built information and help ensure QA documentation and ITP compliance.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2–3 years UK infrastructure experience; familiarity with temporary works and producing method statements is a plus. EEO and accessibility practices are supported in our process.

Qualifications

• Setting out and interpretation of as-built information.
• QA documentation and record keeping.
• Implements ITP requirements and method statements.
• Temporary works understanding; may act as a TWS/TWC.
• Understand materials and plant; call off schedules.
• Awareness of site HS&E procedures.

Responsibilities

• Setting out, understanding of equipment limitations and methods
• Interpret as-built information
• Provides guidance to less experienced staff
• Completes QA documentation and record keeping
• Implements ITP requirements
• Production of method statements or understanding of how they are produced
• Temporary works understanding and, if applicable, take on the role of a TWS/TWC – you do not have to be a certified TWC
• Understanding of materials and plant including call off schedules
• Aware of site HS&E procedures
