Apex M&E Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join an award-winning contractor delivering projects across the East Midlands. You will work with the Site Manager, taking responsibility for key engineering activities on site and supporting new residential and commercial developments.

You'll coordinate subcontractors, materials and programme requirements, maintain accurate records, and help deliver safe, high-quality work.

Formación

• Five years+ site engineer experience on residential developments.
• Third-level qualification in Construction Engineering and Management or similar.
• Full, valid driving licence; relevant site cards.
• Ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities; ensure accuracy and quality of work.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret drawings and set out layouts, levels and references.
• Carry out surveying, mark lines, levels and reference points.
• Coordinate subcontractors and materials to support the site programme.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and keep work on track for deadlines.
• Maintain site records, inspection/testing plans and as-built drawings.
• Uphold safety, health, environmental and quality requirements.
• Guide team members and build productive relationships across the site.

Apex M&E Solutions is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer to join an award-winning construction contractor delivering projects across the East Midlands.

Working alongside the Site Manager, you'll take responsibility for key engineering activities on site, initially supporting new residential and commercial developments.

Your role will extend beyond setting out. You'll help coordinate subcontractors, materials and programme requirements, maintain accurate records and support the team in delivering work safely and to the required standard.

What you'll do

• Interpret construction drawings and communicate layouts, dimensions and requirements clearly.
• Carry out accurate setting out and surveying, establishing lines, levels and reference points.
• Coordinate subcontractors and materials to support the site programme.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and help keep work moving towards key deadlines.
• Maintain site records, inspection and test plans, as-built drawings and environmental documentation.
• Uphold safety, health, environmental and quality requirements.
• Guide other team members and build productive relationships across the site.

What you'll bring

You'll have at least five years' experience as a Site Engineer on residential developments, ideally with some commercial build experience.

A third-level qualification in Construction Engineering and Management, or a similar discipline, is required, alongside relevant site cards and a full, valid driving licence.

You should be confident taking initiative, managing competing priorities and accepting responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work.
