Job summary

Caddick Construction Limited is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support the delivery of Industrial, Logistics and Commercial projects. The role focuses on setting out, dimensional control, QA, and site coordination to ensure safe, efficient site delivery.

You will work with the Site Manager and collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners to maintain high standards of quality and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Construction, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS Card required.
• Additional certifications (e.g. Temporary Works Coordinator, Confined Space) beneficial but not essential.

We are looking for a Site Engineer to support in the delivery of our Industrial, Logistics and Commercial projects. The role will involve setting out, dimensional control, quality assurance, and site coordination, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of our sites.

What You’ll Do

Site Engineer

• Carry out duties of site setting out and dimensional control, ensuring works align with contract drawings.
• assist with QA processes, maintaining records, ITPs, audits, and reporting.
• Manage material and product testing in line with specifications.
• Support the Site Manager with daily site operations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, design teams, and supply chain partners.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records, as-built information, and survey data.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in surveying, setting out, and QA processes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Fieldview/Viewpoint.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Industrial, Logistics, Commercial construction projects as opposed to heavy infrastructure.

Qualifications
