Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking an Apprentice Site Engineer to join the Site Operations Team and help run the site during project delivery. You will study towards a Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship one day a week at university and work four days a week on site.

You will gain experience in setting out, HSEQ, materials sampling and testing, and perform other duties as assigned by your line manager. Start date August 2027, with lodging away from home if required.

Qualifications

• Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship – Civil Engineering BSc (Hons).
• A Level BBC – Maths required; UCAS 112 points.
• T-level (Merit+) in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning (UCAS 120).
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering (Merit in Math).
• BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering (Merit in Math).
• Civ Eng Technician Level 3 apprenticeship with EPA.
• 5 GCSEs A-C incl Maths & English; some Uni require grade 5 Maths.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with company HSEQ policies.
• Assist Site Engineers with setting out under supervision.
• Gain experience in materials sampling and testing.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
