Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major water treatment project in Gloucester. You will play a key role in delivering water treatment and civil works safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.

Responsibilities include setting out, QA documentation, supervising subcontractors, and coordinating with the Site Agent to meet milestones. Valid CSCS and full UK driving licence are essential; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Experience with reinforced concrete structures, drainage, pipelines, or water treatment infrastructure.
• Proficient in using surveying equipment (Leica/Trimble).
• Competent in AutoCAD.

We're recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major water treatment project in Gloucester.

The Role

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements.

Site Engineer Responsibilities

• Setting out for water treatment structures, pipelines, reinforced concrete works, and associated infrastructure.

Site Engineer Requirements

• Competent in using Leica and/or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of setting out, engineering controls, and QA procedures.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable.
