Job summary

Peace Recruitment are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support the final stages of a live civils project in New Cumnock, Ayrshire. The role is hands-on, requiring independence and strong setting-out on site.

You will work from drawings and survey data, carry out checks and as-builts, and contribute to day-to-day engineering on site using Trimble equipment. A CSCS card and proven earthworks and drainage experience are essential; availability to start Monday 21st September is

Qualifications

• Strong Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer experience.
• Good earthworks and drainage experience.
• Confident use of Trimble GPS / Total Station.
• Experience setting profiles and batters.
• Good understanding of drawings, survey data and as-built information.
• Valid CSCS.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Availability to start Monday 21st September.

Freelance Site Engineer - Ayrshire

Location: New Cumnock, Ayrshire

Start: Monday 21st September

Duration: Short-term contract, with strong potential to extend

Peace Recruitment are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support the final stages of a live civils project in New Cumnock.

This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is confident coming onto an established site, picking up the existing setting out requirements and working independently with minimal supervision.

The work will include earthworks, muck shift, drainage, profiles, batters and general setting out, using Trimble equipment.

You will need to be comfortable working from drawings and survey information, carrying out checks and as-builts, and supporting the site team with day-to-day engineering requirements.

We're looking for someone with:
