Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site Engineer for our Wanlip team in Leicester. In this permanent, full-time role, you will support the Wanlip Sewerage Treatment Works with duties including setting out works, preparing documentation, and ensuring quality compliance. We're looking for a Site Engineer to joinour Wanlip team based in Leicester for our contract with Severn Trent.

Location:Wanlip, Leicester
Hours:45 hours per week – Permanent, Full Time Contract

What will you beresponsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within theWanlip Sewerage Treatment Worksteam, supporting them in delivering the Early Contractor Involvement and Main Works Contracts for the site upgrade.

What does the day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

• Setting out and surveying works to ensure technical compliance with design specifications
• Assisting in the preparation of construction records and ‘as-built' documentation
• Monitoring workmanship and materials, and contributing to quality assurance processes
• Supporting the preparation of site permits and contributing to daily task briefings
• Producing daily diary records and assisting in communication of technical requirements on site

What are we looking for?

This role ofSite Engineeris great for you if:

• You hold a relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or Degree in a related field)
• You have CAT & Genny training and EUSR Water Hygiene certification
• You bring strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and experience working on major civil engineering schemes in regulated environments
