Cavendish Professionals is recruiting a Site Engineer to join one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors in Hull. You will be responsible for setting out and surveying works, producing accurate site records and ensuring compliance with design information on a range of infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has proven setting-out experience, CSCS card, and a Civil Engineering degree, with strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate with designers, subcontractors

Qualificações

• Proven experience as Site Engineer on civil/ infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting-out and surveying skills with GPS/Total Station.
• Experience on highways, utilities or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set out and survey works per drawings and specs.
• Maintain accurate site records and ITPs.
• Ensure works follow design information and project requirements.
• Support QA processes and documentation.
• Coordinate with designers, subcontractors and client reps.
• Monitor progress and report to project team.
• Assist with health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage permits and site records.
• Liaise with stakeholders on site.

We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in Hull.

Our client is a leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure, commercial, residential and transportation projects across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built documentation.
• Ensuring works are delivered in compliance with design information and project requirements.
• Managing quality control processes and completing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Supporting subcontractors with technical queries and engineering requirements.
• Reviewing drawings and identifying potential design or construction issues.
• Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the project team.
• Assisting with temporary works coordination and implementation.
• Carrying out site inspections and ensuring works meet required standards.
• Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance across site operations.
• Managing permits, technical documentation and construction records.
• Liaising with designers, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong setting-out experience using GPS, Total Station and surveying equipment.
• Experience working on highways, utilities, energy, infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in maintaining quality assurance and project documentation.
• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
