Job summary

RTL Group Ltd, a national civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer to join tunnelling projects. You will handle setting out, surveying, QA/QC, RAMS and ITPs while ensuring health and safety compliance and progress against programme.

Applicants should have White CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, driving licence and prior tunnelling/underground construction experience.

Qualifications

• White CSCS card is required.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.
• Experience on tunnelling or underground construction.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Previous site engineer experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ITPs and RAMS.
• Ensure QA and QC compliance.
• Uphold health and safety requirements.
• Setting out and surveying on site.
• Work to project specifications and drawings.
• Support tunnelling and underground works.
• Monitor progress against programme and specs.

• Supporting tunnelling and underground works.
• Monitoring works against programme and specifications.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• White CSCS
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Previous experience on Tunnelling or Underground Construction.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer.
