Job summary

East Anglian Site Engineering Ltd. seeks an experienced Site Engineer for an Anglian Water project based in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex. Immediate start on a full-time contract through to Christmas 2026, with potential for further work.

The role focuses on setting out, surveying, quality control, and recording data, supporting the site management team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of works in a live utility environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
• Microtunnelling experience is essential.
• Confined Space certification is required.
• Anglian Water Passport preferred (arranged if needed).
• ARC Level PPE required.
• Competent in setting out and surveying using modern surveying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Ensure works delivered to required specs and tolerances.
• Produce accurate site records and as-built information.
• Carry out quality assurance checks and inspections.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Support safe delivery of works within live utility environment.

Site Engineer

Location: Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Full-time contract through to Christmas 2026, potnetial for further work

Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

East Anglian Site Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join an Anglian Water project based in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to secure work on a key utility infrastructure scheme with continuity of work through to Christmas.

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background within civil engineering and utility projects, with microtunnelling experience being essential. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, quality control, record keeping, and supporting the site management team to ensure works are delivered safely and accurately.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
• Microtunnelling experience is essential
• Valid Confined Space certification
• Anglian Water Passport preferred (can be arranged for the right candidate)
• ARC Level PPE required
• Competent in setting out and surveying using modern surveying equipment
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality standards
