Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking permanent Site Engineers specializing in setting out for civil engineering projects in the North West. You will work on drainage, groundworks, excavation, piling and highways, delivering precise dimensions from drawings.

The ideal candidate has proven experience with civil engineering contractors and setting out using Leica GNSS, total stations and related equipment. The role includes a 45-hour week, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Qualifications

• Carry out detailed material take-offs for civil works.
• Setting out and surveying using Leica GNSS Rovers, base stations and total stations.
• Reading all project speciation's producing take of materials required.
• Proficient in reading drawings and ensuring levels are accurate to scale for new works and safety on site.

My client is a leading specialist's civil engineering subcontractor. They are very well placed within the market place with a strong and reputable reputation. Due to a large number of projects, they are looking to strengthen their teams with several permanent setting out site engineers. The site Engineers will be working on civil engineering projects, drainage, groundworks, Excavator works, pilling and highways. You will have previously worked for a civil engineering contractor working setting out dimensional drawings accurately.

My client is a busy well-established contractor that looks for permanent candidates, that they can invest, support and develop their employees. They work largely within the North West, some travel as and when required maybe be expected.

Required Skills

• Will have the ability to carry out detailed material take offs for civil engineering works, Proficiency in setting out and surveying using LECIA GNNS Rovers, base stations and total stations.
• Experience working with GNSS/TPS Lecia Machine Control including the setting up of site control, coordinate systems.
• Reading all project speciation's producing take of materials required. As site engineer you will have fully proficient in drawings, checking the levels are all accurate to scale for new works. Ensuring all health and safety is adhered to strictest level on site.
