Job description

My client is a leading groundworks sub-contractor based out of the South East of England, currently undertaking a new industrial project in Chelmsford. The project duration is 8 months, and they are seeking an engineer to manage the site from start to finish. The company also has a busy order book for future work in the area.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the project management team.
• Setting out, foundations, HD Bolts, external works, drainage, etc.
• Managing daily QA and as-builts.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Carrying out works in accordance with agreed methodology and methods.
• Maintaining correct documentation on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specifications.

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card.
• Full UK driving license.
• Previous experience within groundworks or similar sectors.
• Strong communication skills.
