Job summary

Teamforce Labour are seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an immediate start on a long-term civil engineering project in Lancashire.

You will be setting out, surveying, interpreting drawings and producing as-built records while coordinating with site teams to ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civils projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• CSCS Card is essential.
• SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for civil engineering works.
• Carrying out surveys and producing site records.
• Checking levels, line and drainage installations.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Producing as-built drawings and QA documentation.
• Working with Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works meet project specs and safety standards.
• Assisting with progress reporting and resolving engineering issues on site.

• Setting out for a range of civil engineering works
• Carrying out surveys and producing accurate site records
• Checking levels, line and drainage installations
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Producing as-built drawings and quality assurance documentation
• Working closely with Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications
• Assisting with progress reporting and resolving engineering issues on site

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civils projects
• Proficient with Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• CSCS Card (essential)
• SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
