Job description

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our KierBam JV project at Hinkley Point C based in Bridgewater, Somerset. KierBAM is a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall.

Location: Site Based, Bridgewater, Somerset

Hours: Permanent 45 hours per week - Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4 Shift Pattern, (16:30 - 03:00) / (07:30 - 18:00). 19% shift uplift, earning up to £401 per day.

Responsibilities: The role of the Site Engineer is to provide engineering control and supervise production resources, ensuring compliance with project and company systems for a defined area of the works at Hinkley Point C.

Your Day To Day Will Include:

• Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, such as drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork, etc.
• Produce accurate As Built records in compliance with the agreed quality systems.
• Deal with problems on site and escalate to Section Engineer where required.
• Responsible for setting out works within allowable tolerances.
• Regularly check setting out points and benchmarks, ensuring all instruments and measuring equipment are calibrated and recorded.
