Job description

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our KierBam JV project at Hinkley Point C, based in Bridgewater, Somerset. KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall.

Hours: Permanent, 45 hours per week. Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4, with shifts from 16:30 to 03:00 and 07:30 to 18:00.

Shift uplift of 19%, earning up to £401 per day.

Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will provide engineering control and supervise production resources, ensuring compliance with project and company systems for the designated area at Hinkley Point C.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Assisting in recording and testing workmanship and materials such as drainage, concrete, piling, and brickwork.
• Producing accurate As Built records in accordance with quality systems.
• Addressing site problems and escalating issues to the Section Engineer when necessary.
• Setting out works within allowable tolerances.
• Regularly checking setting out points and benchmarks, ensuring all instruments and measuring equipment are calibrated and recorded.
