This long-term opportunity focuses on marine structures and includes diverse responsibilities such as setting out, site supervision, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Candidates should have relevant experience in marine civils and drainage.
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support a major marine civils project in Bognor Regis. The works include marine structures, deep drainage, and heavy earthworks, offering a long-term opportunity on a challenging and rewarding coastal scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out and surveying for marine works, deep drainage, and earthworks
Ensuring accuracy and quality of works in line with project specifications
Coordinating subcontractors and assisting with site supervision
Producing and managing as-built records, QA documentation, and ITPs
Interpreting technical drawings and providing support to the site team
Ensuring works are carried out safely and in compliance with environmental regulations
Reporting progress and issues to the Site Agent or Project Manager
Requirements:
Previous experience in marine civils, drainage, and earthworks essential
Proficient in using total station and GPS equipment (Leica or Trimble)
CSCS card (essential)
SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
Strong understanding of drainage installation, levels, and temporary works
Right to work in the UK
