Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical or M&E Engineer to join our on-site team at a modern client site. The role focuses on electrical PPMs with some fabric duties such as fire and riser doors, for which full training will be provided.

You will work with the Fabric Engineer, Supervisor and client engineering team, applying broad building services knowledge to diagnose issues and coordinate contractor activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical or M&E engineer on site.
• Good general building-services knowledge.
• Willingness to learn fabric works such as fire doors and risers.

Responsibilities

• Delivering electrical PPMs and assessing reactive tasks.
• Inspecting fire doors and riser doors, with training provided.
• Assessing M&E defects and identifying remedial works.
• Interrogating BMS and remote monitoring systems for health checks and faults.
• Collaborating with client’s engineering team and site personnel.
• Directing contractors to correct locations and providing access as needed.
• Maintaining site records and following procedures.
• Providing a professional, customer-focused service.
