Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Site EHS Advisor to champion health, safety and environmental practices on-site in Ramsgate. The role focuses on operational EHS support and compliance across the project lifecycle, promoting a zero-harm culture.

The candidate should have a health & safety diploma, knowledge of construction EHS regs, and strong communication skills. It includes onsite delivery, reporting, and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management and Environmental Management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation for large construction projects.
• Experience implementing EHS arrangements for Principal Contractors on CDM projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT Literacy (MS Office) for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible EHS leadership and champion safety on-site.
• Roll out safety campaigns and communications across site personnel.
• Monitor subcontractor RAMS and report non-compliance.
• Conduct routine inspections and document findings, escalating unsafe acts.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Coordinate emergency drills and monitor equipment availability.
• Develop weekly EHS site reports and archive documentation.
