Job summary

Aliaxis UK Limited is seeking an ambitious Environmental, Health & Safety Lead to own the EHS agenda at a manufacturing site. You will champion health, safety and environmental standards and partner with site leadership to embed a culture of safety in every decision.

You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement, with strong governance of ISO 45001/14001 and UK legislation. This role is ideal for an experienced EHS professional progressing to site leadership.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ Level 6 or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Experience in a Health & Safety or EHS role within a manufacturing, engineering, logistics or operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and risk management principles.
• Experience with ISO 45001 management systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the site's primary point of contact for all EHS matters.
• Support the development and delivery of site EHS improvement plans aligned to business objectives.
• Drive engagement and awareness through coaching, training and safety initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments and support managers in identifying and controlling workplace hazards.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards.
• Support incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring actions are implemented effectively.
• Analyse EHS performance data and help identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and support the site's management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Deliver EHS inductions, training and awareness programmes across the site.
• Share best practice and collaborate with EHS colleagues across the wider business network.
• Support environmental initiatives, sustainability projects and continuous improvement activities.
