Job summary

CEVA Logistics UK&I is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager for our Glasgow network facility in Bellshill. You will oversee all site operations, manage the budget, and drive customer-focused service delivery to protect and grow the customer portfolio.

You will lead a team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and identify opportunities for organic growth and contract development to strengthen CEVA's position in Scotland.

Qualifications

• You will have strong operational management experience within transport, distribution or logistics.
• You will demonstrate leadership, budget control, and customer relationship management.
• You will ensure safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Glasgow site budget, revenue and P&L, with KPIs clearly achieved.
• Oversee freight movement into/out of the site and fleet/transport office.
• Identify growth opportunities and contract development for the Glasgow site.
• Review performance, drive efficiencies and ensure compliance with policies.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Distribution Manager to take full responsibility for our Glasgow Network facility in Bellshill, overseeing all site operations and the services provided to our customer portfolio.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the full site operationyou will play a key role in maintaining operational performance, managing commercial and financial targets, strengthening customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Manage the site’s budget, revenue and P&L, ensuring financial targets and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Oversee the movement of freight into and out of the site, including the effective management of the commercial fleet and transport office.
• Identify opportunities for organic growth and contract development, contributing to the continued success of the Glasgow site.
• Review operational performance, identify efficiencies and ensure the site consistently meets customer and business requirements.
• Maintain compliance with legal requirements, CEVA policies, internal audits and relevant quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Glasgow facility, ensuring operations are efficient, cost-effective and service-driven.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will have strong operational management experience within transport, distribution or logistics, with proven experience managing teams, driving operational performance and maintaining high standards of health and safety and legal compliance. Holding a Driver CPC qualification, you will bring a strong understanding of transport operations, alongside the commercial awareness and leadership skills needed to manage site performance, budgets and customer relationships.
