Job summary

CTS Group in the UK is seeking a Design Manager (Site) to lead on-site design activities for live data centre projects. You will act as the primary design authority, coordinating between site operations, subcontractors, vendors and CTS's Design & Engineering function.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs, technical queries, design changes and coordination, ensuring builds adhere to the approved design, project specs, client requirements and safety standards throughout delivery and handover.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in design management or construction delivery.
Experience with data centre or mission-critical projects.
Strong BIM and digital coordination knowledge.
Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Act as lead design representative on site for construction-phase design matters.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and client reps.
Manage RFIs and Technical Queries to timely closure.
Lead design reviews and assess site changes with cost and schedule impact.
Ensure design information aligns with approved design and regulatory standards.
Support commissioning, handover, and as-built documentation.
Promote Safety in Design and compliance with UK regulations.
