Job summary

Kier Group in Plymouth seeks an experienced Agent to join the team on site and support delivery of construction projects. You will be the main point of contact on site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work flows to schedule.

The role requires qualifications such as SSSTS/SMSTS and a relevant qualification, with strong communication and contract administration skills. You will work 45 hours per week and undergo BPSS/UKSV security checks.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
• SSSTS/SMSTS certification is desirable.
• Experience in construction site administration, contract management, or project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on site or project-related matters.
• Assist with contract administration, including reviewing and managing subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
• Monitor progress and ensure subcontractors comply with project requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate site inspections, deliveries, and logistics to support construction activities.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation related to project progress and contract matters.
