Job summary

Culina Logistics in Stafford is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Practitioner to oversee the Site CI plan and act as PMO for the site. You will drive improvements across safety, quality, cost and delivery while engaging colleagues in change initiatives.

You will report to the General Manager, support system changes, and facilitate data-driven decision making. Working hours are 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to lead small projects and mentor teams in CI practices.

Qualifications

• Aware of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Previous experience of being involved or leading elements of a project i.e. basic Project Management tools and techniques.
• Presentation skills and ability to deliver training.
• Some knowledge of IT systems for example M-Type, SCE, TMS, Info view ideal.
• Data Analysis & solution design.
• MS proficient (i.e. Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, BI).
• Experience of working closely with operations and developing effective working relationships.
• Experience of implementing change in a challenging environment.
• Experience of working in a project environment and of improvement activity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the delivery of the site CI plan with site teams and PMO.
• Report progress, risks, issues and benefits for site CI and projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve health and safety, quality, cost and service on site.
• Track benefits and support resource planning to realise improvements.
• Lead small projects to unlock benefits.
• Upskill colleagues on CI, problem solving and workstream management.
• Support major system changes and requirements gathering on site.
• Assist data gathering for diagnostics and benefits tracking.
• Support governance of new operational processes and SOP maintenance.
• Collaborate with recruitment and engagement teams to communicate CI activity.
• Engage senior stakeholders and support CI strategy across teams.
